Dad,
You taught me, as well as my family, more than you ever realized. You showed me compassion, empathy, patience and that people can change for the better. In recent years, I saw a side of you that I never knew existed and I will carry those memories with me until we meet again.
I love and truly miss you.

One year ago today you left us.Hope your hitting them often. We all miss you very much. Take care and see ya on the other side. love and miss you Rene.
I am the oldest daughter of Rene Poirier and I say this with great honor. What I remember about my Father is different from other members of my famliy. To me he was strun, quite man with big heart. The air force made him strict but they didn’t take away his sence of humor. Grandchildren brought out the best is him. They went without nothing up to gas money in college. Then came great-grandchildren he spent more time on the floor when they were there then in his chair. I could go on all day about my wonderful father and I guess it’s okay now to say that we had a special connection I was his favorite and I knew it. I will love him until the day I die, I hope he is in heaven playing cards with his brothers and Peter.
His Loving Daughter Renette
I miss you Dad and think of you often! Your resting site was warm, sunny and very peaceful today. My heart was filled with loving thoughts as I arranged the purple flowers. Until we meet again….love always,
Your youngest, Annette
Pepe, I still think about you often. You are greatly missed but definately remembered. I hope that you are having fun up in heaven and please continue to watch over all of us. I love you!
To my Dad
I know I was your favorite at least at hospital. Every day I watch the clock waiting for you to get there. I did not know how to tell time so I would ask the nurse and she would point at the clock. So then I would wait for a new nurse to come on duty. One day you check me out and we went to a plane museum. I remember everything about that day….going down on the elevator and child next to making fun of the huge bandage…you comforted me …such a hero in my eyes. I don’t know how long I was there but when they told you they wanted to operate again which would keep me there thru Christmas you said no…such a hero in my eyes. When you bought me a guitar for my birthday and I played it all the way home…such a hero in my eyes. This is way you dad was my hero! I love and miss you.

As I look back on this past year it has not been the same without you. Everyday when I went to school this past summer I drove past your grave and thought of all the good times we has together. All those days I would walk to your house afterschool and have a big bowl of coffee ice cream and pickles my favorites. Anytime I look behind my shoulder I can still see you coming around the conner ready to hit my arm and saying it is just because I love you that much. I will always remember you and are so happy that you are resting in peace. Keep an eye on us all and I will see you soon.
Love always,
Shelby (your favorite granddaghter)
Dad: Its 2020 and I still miss you all the time. Dale
