Hi Papi,
I’m so sad you had to leave us so sudden but I know you are in a better place now, where you will no longer suffer and be in pain. Please know that I have always loved you and will miss you deeply. Tati and Neti will miss their Papa Ritchie. Nelson also says to take care and he will miss you too. I also wanted to thank you for holding on so Carlos and I could make it and say our last goodbye to you. We just wanted to make sure, you were not alone. And you hung in there, you have no idea how much that meant to me cause I know you heard us and knowing that has giving me strength during this diffcult time. All I ask of you is to watch over me and my family and I will see you again someday but for now please try to behave yourself up there, I know how you like joking around “mi way” and don’t try to spook Mami either..lol
Send my love to abuela and Tio Nelson.
Love you always,
TanyaMonique Davila (I can’t believe I just wrote my full name, you know how much I hated that name). Take Care Papi.
Abuelo Richie, I am so glad we got to speak before you got sick. I got to tell you about the boys and that I love you. It was obvious how much you loved them and Marquez took it the hardest. He reminded me that you were the one that gave him his first Yankees cap! He’s always treasured that hat and now even moreso. He’s put a picture of you, Abuelo and Abuela on the wall in his room right above his pillow. We’ll miss you and your crazy jokes dearly. I know you are not in pain anymore and your soul is soaring above us along with your brother and Abuela. Please watch over all of us. We love you very much always,

Hi Papi,
I just wanted to wish you a very Happy Birthday. You are 55 years old today… Cuñjo man you’re an old fart… lol No matter how old you get I’m sure you’re still very handsome, especially up there. Please know you’re in my thoughts today and in my heart always.
I miss and love you very much!
Love always,
Your one and only daughter, TanyaMonique Davila
