Tish and family I’m so sorry for the lost of Richard.Richard was a great friend from Jeffersonville I lost touch of him after high school. I wish I keep in touch time goes so fast my prayer’s go out to family.
My heart breaks for you and the boys Tish. I hope we can all find peace in the fact that Richard is not hurting anymore. I know it’s selfish of me to still want him here even though he was in so much pain…but I miss him so much and there are no words to describe the sadness that I’m feeling. I will miss him for the rest of my life.
One is never really ready when it comes time to part. Know that Dean will live in sweet memories in our hearts. We will think of him often for all the good times we shared. His love for you and the boys was obvious.
May this thought bring you peace – that he lives on in our hearts. Words are few, but thoughts and prayers are with you.
Tish, Shane and Miles…although you don’t know me personally, I none-the-less feel as though we are friends. I went to high school with both of Richard’s parents (Bob and Brenda) and was very close to both of them.
I know there is nothing I can say or do that will lessen the pain that you feel from Richard’s passing. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of sorrow.
POEM OF LIFE
Life is but a stopping place,
A pause in what’s to be,
A resting place along the road,
to sweet eternity.
We all have different journeys,
Different paths along the way,
We all were meant to learn some things,
but never meant to stay…
Our destination is a place,
Far greater than we know.
For some the journey’s quicker,
For some the journey’s slow.
And when the journey finally ends,
We’ll claim a great reward,
And find an everlasting peace,
Together with the lord

To Richards family and friends:
I’m so sorry to read about Richard’s passing. I babysat for Richard and his two sisters quite often back in the early to mid 70’s. All great kids, never had a problem out of them. I really enjoyed hanging out with his parents andor babysitting for them as well. Very nice family. I am Becky and Gary Barnett’s older sister. You guys are in my thoughts and prayers. I’m so sorry for your loss.
Our thoughts and prayers are with your family during this sad time. Karl has so many happy memories of Dean. We’re glad to spend fun times with you all years ago when your boys were so small.
“What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch, we may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived. And that your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget.”
Peace out, bro. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with me. You will be missed.
Tish,
I know we have not been in touch over the years, but I heard the news and just wanted to say how sorry I am to hear about his passing. I know this is a very difficult time and words really can’t express how sorry I am. Your family will be in our prayers. Terri Horn-Drury
