Richard F. Gysendorfer, aka “Birdman”, 82, of Seminole, FL, died Thursday February 21, 2008 at Bay Pines VA Health Care Services.
Born to the late Ferdinand and Helen Showerman Gysendorfer, he moved here from his native Chicago, IL in the 1950’s. He retired as an independent painter after 30 years of experience. He was a US Navy veteran of WWII. He served as president of the Audubon Society. He enjoyed collecting cans on the beach and bird watching.
Survivors include his daughter, Melissa S. Rose of Seminole, and son, Robin.
