Richard St. John Halliburton, 88, US Army-World War II Veteran-"Purple Heart Awarded" funeral services are 3:00 PM, Saturday, July 28, 2012 at Southern Funeral Care, 10510 Riverview Drive, Riverview, FL with Chaplin Herb and the Pinellas County Military Honor Guard, to officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:30 PM until service time.
A native of Montclair, NJ and a local resident since 2001, when he moved here from Ocho Rios, Jamaica. He was a retired dental technician and of the Protestant faith. He served as a US Army Veteran during World War II and was awarded a Purple Heart.
He is survived by his loving family: his wife, Bernice of Tampa; FL; his children; Siri Ditta Halliburton of Long Island, NY; Richard St John Halliburton Jr. and his wife, Carolyn of Long Island, NY; Annistecia Autherine Halliburton of Lutz, FL; Ivy Rose Halliburton of Brandon, FL and Sharon Elaine Williams and her husband Roger of Ocho Rios, Jamaica and his nine grandchildren: Corey, Aaron, Marcus, Roger, Paulo, Thori, Tajee, Halle and Iami.
