Carlson, Richard “Dick” Kenneth, 80, of Clearwater, FL passed away Friday, January 16, 2009 at Mease Hospital Dunedin.
Born in Chicago, IL, he moved here from Columbus, OH in 1992. He retired as a carpenter for the Columbus Housing Authority after more than 40 years. He attended the Church of Christ and was a Navy veteran of WWII. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking and playing golf.
Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Joan; two sons, Tim and Rick; two daughters, Amy and Linda; two stepsons, Jim and Bill Kinser; a brother, George; a sister, Kay Chapman; four grandsons and a great granddaughter.
A memorial service will be held at 12:30 PM on Monday, January 26th at Crossroads Baptist Church, 2276 Curlew Road, Palm Harbor.
