Richard R Steenbuck came to know Jesus Christ as his personal Savior on June 8, 2008 and went home to be with our Savior the Lord Jesus Christ on December 31, 2009.
Richard was born in Farmingdale, New York on January 15, 1964 to his loving parents Ronald and Matalida Steenbuck. He graduated from Farmingdale High School In June 1982. While in High school Rich volunteered with the Farmingdale Fire Department. He later went to work with the Fire Department in New York and was an EMT/Paramedic/Fireman.
He was in the United States Air Force for two years.
He moved to Spring Hill, Florida and worked various jobs, until he started his own flooring business, R. Steenbuck Enterprises, Inc. in 2007.
Richard and Sherri were married in August 21, 2007, in Spring Hill Florida.
He is survived by his wife Sherri King Langley Steenbuck;
his daughter Brianna Steenbuck; and her mother Pamela Steenbuck.
two step-daughters, Sharon Swonger (husband Ron) and Jessica Watkins; three step-sons, Thomas Alford, Michael Alford (wife Candace), and Gordon Alford (wife Mary);
seven grand-children, Braylan, Jordon, Blake, Paige, Savannah, Grace and David;
in-laws, Thomas and Nola Langley; brother in-law, Thomas Langley (wife Cathy) and niece Lisa; sister Barbara Steenbuck and niece Stephanie.
Rich was a blessing to know. He was a loving and devoted husband and father. He was a good man cared very much for his daughter and for all of Sherri’s children. He loved his grandchildren very much. He will be greatly missed, but the family is thankful that he is finally out of pain and is with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Richard was our son-law,a friend and a devoted husband. We will miss him very much and thankful he is free of pain and in the presence of his Holy Father.
I love my husband very much and will miss him always, he was and is my soul mate for ever. He was a wonderful man, loving, kind, caring and always wanting to the right thing. He is at peace now and free of pain. One he and I will be together again.
Rich was a great guy to know. He was a genuine person and he showed that in how well he treated others. Rich was a wonderful brother-in-law. If someone needed help, he was there. We miss him. We believe Rich is with Jesus in heaven, and is free of the pain he fought for so long. God Bless and our prayers go out to all of our family.
Even though we did not personally know Richard, we knew of him through Sherri. We knew he was a man who cared about his family, and his family will continue to care about him. God Bless all of you.
Went to high school with Richie, he was a great person, Big personality , honest respectable guy, funny, he volunteered in the town Fire House during and after High school. Richie always went the extra mile for his friends. Sorry to hear you passed , I know your in Heaven .
