Robert D. Hill, 83, 9-year resident of Largo, Florida, passed away on September 17, 2011.
Survived by wife Betty, son Robert, daughters Kristin, Karen and Margot. Grandchildren include Sarah, Amber, Jonathan, Joshua, Jacob, Aaron, Rebekah, Amanda, Jonathan and the late Leslie. Great-grandchildren Elizabeth, Kaleb and Kamryn. Step-sons Charles and John Syers, and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A memorial service will be held at 1PM at the Ranchero Village Coral on Friday, September 23rd.
Robert was born August 6, 1928 in Holdenville, Oklahoma. He served in the U.S. Navy for 3 years. He graduated with an electrical engineering degree from the University of Kansas and worked at Westinghouse for 19 years. He retired in Ridgecrest California and then moved to Largo, Florida.
Robert enjoyed walking, crossword puzzles, checkers, cards and jigsaw puzzles. He was active in his church and the Ranchero Village men's club, he affected many lives and will be missed.
