Robert Dale Sandquist, 76, of San Antonio, Florida died at St Joseph Hospital North, Tampa, Florida on May 10, 2013 from natural causes.
His funeral is Friday, May 17, 2013 at 3:00 PM at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, Florida 33513 with military honors by the United States Air Force Military Honors Team from Mac Dill Air Force Base, Tampa, Florida.
A native of Salt Lake City, Utah and a local resident of San Antonio, Florida since 2003, when he moved here from San Diego, California. He was a retired Quality Assurance Manager for Electrical Instruments and Ryan Corporation; a United States Air Force Veteran of the Korean War; a Christian; a member of the Moose Lodge; German American Club and a Volunteer for the Pasco County Sheriff Office. During his career in the United States Air Force, he was awarded the Good Conduct Medal and a National Defense Service Medal serving as an Auto Truck Radar Specialist.
He is survived by his loving family: three daughters; Teresa Raychok of Reddick, Florida; Paula Langmesser and her husband, Steven of Clyde, Michigan and Chris Fenner and her husband, Tim of Port Huron, Michigan; a brother, Doug Sandquist of Utah; a sister, Carol Hogan of San Diego, California and two grandchildren.
