Robert E. Larry, 85, of Largo, FL, formerly of Canton, OH, passed away on March 21, 2014.
He was born in Kenmore, NY on January 22, 1929 to the late Charles and Alberta (McGraw) Larry. After serving 4 years in the Air Force, Bob began working for Lorillard Tobacco Company, retiring after 30 plus years. Bob loved spending his winters in Florida. He enjoyed golfing, playing cards, and spending time with his many friends at Lake Seminole Village.
Bob was preceded in death by his fiancée, Gerry Lou Bowman, whom he enjoyed many special years with, and a brother, Richard. Survived by four children, James (Vicki) Larry, Raymond (Ann) Larry, Mark (Alicia) Larry, and Susan (David) Slicker; two sisters, Lois Antoski, and Pat Mosher; seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren; and a special extended family of Tom and Jody Levitt and their children, Matthew and Laura.
Friends may call Thursday, April 10 at Faith United Methodist Church 300 9th Street NW North Canton from 6-7 p.m. A private ceremony will be held by the family.
