Robert James "Bob" Mulroney, 77, of New Port Richey, Florida and formerly of Bedford and Laconia NH passed away on Saturday May 28th 2011 at his Florida home surrounded by his family.
Bob was born in Berlin NH to Jeramiah and Elsie (Dagget) Mulroney on May 8, 1934. He served in The United States Navy during the Korean War aboard the the U.S.S Remey. Later he worked for the United States Post Office and eventually retired after 28 years of service from United Parcel Service as District Manager in Manchester NH where he was nicknamed "The Sky King" Bob was a strong, hardworking man and the proud father of 6 children and 3 step children, 23 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
He is survived by his four daughters: Patricia and Paul Umphrey of New Port Richey, FL, Linda and Edward Walsh of Pelham, NH, Colleen and John O'Connor of Chichester , NH, and Kimberly DiRocco of Tewksbury, MA.
Five sons: Glen and Janice Mulroney of Salem, NH, Gerald and Julie Mulroney of Nashua, NH, Charles and Carina Burke of Palmdale, CA, Kevin Burke of Burbank, CA, and Robert Burke of Huntington Beach, CA.
He is also survived by a sister Priscilla Scaglione of Old Bridge, NJ, and a brother Fredrick and Joanne Mulroney of West Palm Beach, FL. He was also the brother to the late Geraldine Davenport and Peggy Wesnowski.
Bob enjoyed golf, bowling, traveling, sharing his Navy stories, having fun, playing cards and the luck of the Irish!
He was always quite the prankster to all his friends and family His outgoing personality made him loved by all.
