Robert S. DesVoignes, 59, died October 28, 2013. Bob was born in Grand Rapids Michigan and joined the Army when he turned 18. He loved his job in the military as a Missile Guidance Technician. After the service he returned to Michigan and in 1984 relocated to Florida to be with the rest of his family who had moved here to Florida.
Bob was predeceased by his parents Dale & Lois, his brother Rick and his sister Sue. He leaves behind his brother Jim (Barb Morris), his daughter, Shawn Kirby (Kane), his son, Robert, his step-son, Mark Ennis, his niece, Lynn (Jeff Fowler), his nephew, Jimmy, two grandchildren, Alex Rivera and Hayden Kirby and a great-nephew Gage Fowler.
Bob was a Mason and a past member of Ye Mystic Krewe of Neptune and truly loved boating. He was a kind and always a dreamer and loved his family. We will all miss him greatly.
We will always love you and we know you will always be with us watching over us.
So sorry for your loss. I know Bobbie will be missed, and he will always be in your hearts and memories. May God bless you all during this difficult and sad time.
