Robert W. "RaRa" Nielsen, 69, of Clearwater, Florida went home to the Lord on April 16, 2011 at his home with his loving family by his side. He was born in Boston, Massachusetts on August 5, 1941, the son of the late Arthur H. and Jean Howard Nielsen, and later served his country in the US Navy. Robert was employed as a foreman for commercial construction projects for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah A. Nielsen; his step-children: James Brogan, Debra Goulet, and Dawn Brogan, all of Clearwater, and John S. Brogan of N. Attleboro, MA; his step-grandchildren: Christopher Goulet, Jason Goulet, Jeremy Goulet, and Samantha Brogan, all of Clearwater, and Veronica and Maddi Brogan of N. Attleboro, MA.
Memorial services with military honors are scheduled for Monday, April 25, 2011 at 2pm from Bay Pines National Cemetery in St. Petersburg, Florida.

You were always my favorit brother. I wished we could have been closer. I starting searching for you sometime ago, but could not find you. I wish I had. I don’t have many memories of us as kids, because you left home when I was young. But what I do remember is that you always protected me. You were kind and good hearted.
