Robert W. Russell (Russ), 62, passed away on August 25, 2011 at Bay Pines VA hospital.
Russ was born in Ashville N.C. and left there to join the United States Army where he became an Army Ranger and while stationed at Eglin Air Force Base met and married his first wife Jacqueline Russell. Together they moved to Pinellas County in 1968 after his discharge from the military. Russ went on to join the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union Local 111 where he was a proud member for over 35 years and the American Legion.
Russ was preceded in death by his first wife Jacqueline L Russell and his second wife Kathy Russell. He is survived by his only daughter Tammy L. Russell, and her Partner Dusty Curtis (his other girl) of St Petersburg Florida, and his brothers of the heart Jeff Johns, John Jones, John Craig and Boyd Demond.
Robert service is 11:00 AM, September 3, 2011 at American Legion Hall, 4th Street and 15th Avenue North in St Petersburg, FL.
