Roland Darrell Smith, 53, of Sanford, FL, died Thursday October 4, 2007 at his home in Sanford. He was born in Jersey City, NJ and moved to Sanford in 1995. He served his country in the US Army. He was a drywall installer and finisher and was a Deacon at the House of Prayer and Deliverance Outreach Ministries Church in Oviedo. He is survived by his wife Barbara Smith of Sanford; mother, Betty Allen and step-father, James Allen of Patterson, NJ; father, Benjamin Smith of New York; sons, Kerone James of Fort Myers; Roland Deloatch of Sanford; Denell Smith of Sanford; Murad Rosenborough of Philadelphia, PA; Joseph Smith of Sanford and Lamier Smith of Sanford; daughters, Cathy Wilson Oren of Richmond, VA; Kizzy Spencer and son, Ronnie of Sanford and Khamilla Belton of Patterson, NJ; brothers, Anthea Smith of Patterson, NJ; Shawny Allen of Patterson, NJ; Tony Cromartie of Nakina, NC; Terrance Allen of Patterson, NJ; James Allen, Jr. of Baltimore, MD and Stewart Stephens of Long Island, New York; sisters, Darlene Jones of Baltimore, MD; Rosetta Howard of New York; Seretha Stephens of Brooklyn, NY and Amanda Turner of Houston, TX; and 18 grandchildren.
