LTC Ronald Lee Sumner, USA Ret., 59, of Spring Hill, FL passed away on September 3, 2010 at HPH Hospice Care Center, Brooksville.
Born in Wauchula, FL, Ronald graduated from North Fort Myers High School. He retired from the US Army after 30 years of service. He was a veteran of the Vietnam and the Persian Gulf Wars.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Lester Sumner and Erma Winhoven Sumner. He is survived by son Martin; companion, Jeanie; brother, Lester; two sisters Aves Palmer and Kunie Kumner; and several nieces and nephews.

Lester and Mary, I so sorry to here Ron passed away. It been years since I’ve seen him, but I always like him. My thoughts of you are with you and I’ll say a pray for Ron and you.
I am sorry for the loss to you all. I am Martin’s wife and know that his son loved him very much. His 3 grandchildren, Jacob, Konner, and Elizabeth may not have gotten to know him but they will know of him.
