Curvelo, Ronald M., 72, of Clearwater, FL passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at Brookside Hospice House under the care of Suncoast Hospice.
Born in Manhattan, NY, he moved here from Woodstock, CT. He was a commercial artist by trade and owned “Concepts in Color” in Manhattan, NY. He served in the US Marine Corps earning the rank of Private First Class. He was an avid reader, a NY Jets football fan, enjoyed cooking, had many friends and volunteered with many charities.
Survivors include his wife, Judith; two sons, Ronald of Dunedin, FL and Louis of New York; a daughter, Amanda Potts of New York; two brothers, Luis of Montauk, NY and Richard of Sarasota, FL; and two grandchildren, Rachel and John Curvelo.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30AM, on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at First Presbyterian Church, 455 Scotland Street, Dunedin, FL 34698. Interment will be held at Bay Pines National Cemetery.

Dad, thanks for fighting so hard for the last 4 months and being there for your family as long as you could.I’m so thankful and blessed that you are my father and know you are where you want to be with your lord and savior.I am going to miss you so very much ,all questions you answered ,all the good food you cooked,all the jet games we watched together but most of all nice smile and big hug you gave me eveytime we saw eachother!!! Uncle Ronnie, thanks for the great memories I shared with you and your family growing up. I had a good time with you, ronnie, my son and myself at the RangerTampa game.
