Russell E. Cole., 65, of Largo, FL, passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at home.
Born in New Haven, CT, Russ moved here from Southbury, CT in 1969. He retired as Plant Manager for Shakespeare Composite Structures, Light Post Division. He was a Navy veteran of Vietnam and a lifetime member of DAV Chapter #13, Holiday Isle. He was Methodist and enjoyed raising Shitzu puppies. He played guitar and was an avid football fan, NCAA and professional.
Survivors include his two son, Jacob Ames of Largo; brother, Lloyd (Vicki) of St. Petersburg, FL; sister, Pamela (Michael) LeGath of Tampa, FL; five nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service with full military honors will be presented by the American Legion Post #273, Madeira at 9:30 AM on Friday, March 21, 2014 at Bay Pines National Cemetery, 10000 Bay Pines Boulevard, 33744,http://www.cem.va.gov/cems/nchp/baypines.asp
