Ruth E. DeSimone – Briggs, 86 of Redington Shores , passed away Saturday, November 27, 2010. She was born in Toledo , Ohio and moved to Florida in 1986, retiring from the Clerk of Courts for the City of Toledo . During her retirement, she enjoyed dancing at various locations in the St. Petersburg area as was a member of the Gulf Coast Artists Club.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Thomas DeSimone and James Briggs. She was a loving mother of daughter Gail A. Clary and son Craig DeSimone of Seminole FL, grandmother of Lisa Thomas, Lora Creps, Brian Clary, Paul DeSimone, Ryan DeSimone, Jeff DeSimone and great grandchildren Megan Creps, Lauren Creps, Erin Creps, Justin Thomas, Marisa Thomas, Anna Thomas and Kaylee Dunn.
She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Services will be held on December 4, 2010 at Indian Rocks Baptist Church Chapel, 12685 Ulmerton Road, Largo FL , with visitation at Noon and services commencing at 1pm. Entombment will follow at Garden Sanctuary in Seminole, Florida.
