Sally L. Schnitzer, 81, of St. Petersburg, Florida died peacefully on October 8, 2011 at her home with her family by her side. She was born in Butler, PA on October 10, 1929, the daughter of the late Frank and Catherine Guthrie Lefevre. Sally moved to St. Pete Beach with her late husband, Connie "CJ", and family in 1959, and was employed as a hospitality office administrator for local Beach businesses where she was well-known by members of the St. Pete Beach Chamber of Commerce. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church and cherished the numerous families and friends she came to know. Sally enjoyed Upham Beach, watching her grandson play baseball, her "therapy" at the Hard Rock with her dear friend, Sweet, and had an extreme faith in the Lord.
She is survived by her two daughters: Nancy Banks and Ellen Brown, both of St. Petersburg, Florida; three grandchildren: Cari Leonard, Brandon Diaz, and Alexandriena Tavo; and seven great-grandchildren. Sally is predeceased by her parents, her husband, "CJ", and her son, Chris Brown.
Private family services have been scheduled, and the family requests donations be made to Suncoast Hospice, 5771 Roosevelt Blvd., Clearwater, FL 33760 in her memory.

I’m sorry for your loss. I am praying for her and the family. I saw Sally in church recently and will always remember how she told me she still could remember smelling my tomato sauce cooking in the kitchen from her house and how that made me smile. Those days were nice. She will be missed. Take care.

Dear Nancy, Ellen and family,
We know you are all missing Aunt Sally so much! She was a beautiful person inside and out. This picture you chose is such a wonderful reminder of that spark that she had. She will be missed by so many but remembered for all of the great things that she did. You are in our prayers.
Love,
