I'M FREE
Don't grieve for me now; I'm free
I'm following the path God laid you see.
I took his hand, when I heard him call;
I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day;
To laugh, to love, to work or play.
Task left undone must stay that way.
I found that peace at the close of my day.
If my parting has left a void,
Then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss;
Oh yes, these things I too will miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow;
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow;
My life's been full, I've savored much;
Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief.
Don't lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your heart and share with me…
God wanted me now. He set Me free!!!
My Tu-Pop was a wonderful man who was so loved by so many. But one of the greatest loves & fun he had was his daughter Mop-Mop! I was honored and priviledged enough to be a part of his life and I thank God everyday for this blessing. I will miss you soooo very much Tu-Pop, thank you for EVERYTHING. Only Me :-)

• Family watched you suffer Sam, day to day,
• Wishing your pain would go away,
• You were strong, you didn’t complain,
• Family just wish you could have been the same…
• The man you were a year ago,
• Vibrant, alive, and free to go
• Instead your destiny turned,
• And this is what your family learned,
• That even when life gets you down,
• You don’t give up, don’t frown,
• You push on with all your might,
• Not giving up without a fight.
• And in the end you had such grace,
• Waiting for God’s sweet embrace.
• You are free and your pain is gone
• Now we all must carry on,
• But even though you left the scene,
• You will always be our King.
Love and thanks to all.
