Upon retirement in 1979, his family moved to St. Petersburg Beach, and later relocated to Harbor Bluffs in 1994. He remained an active member in each of these communities through various associations. Pete was an active member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Largo where he was an usher. He was a shining example of a Good Samaritan touching many lives. He was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather. His grandchildren were paramount in his life and never missed an opportunity to share in their lives.
