Steven Phillip Schueller, 71, of Tampa, passed away on Friday, August 30, 2013, at the James A. Haley Veterans’ Hospital in Tampa, FL. He was born in Battle Creek, MI, and moved here in 2012 from Miami, FL.
He served his country in the United States Air Force. While were running to avoid the conflict in Vietnam, he enlisted to protect his country and family. Following his time in the service, he became an Engineer in the medical industry. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Steve loved his family and thoroughly enjoyed his computers and his job. He was a great cook and enjoyed his vacations to Ireland. Steve was always good for a laugh and had an unusual sense of humor. He also didn’t always act his age. At age 64, he was teaching his grandson how to do flips on a trampoline when he injured his shoulder.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Bess Schueller. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Gabrielle; sons, Paul of Miami, FL, Like of St. Petersburg, and David of Tampa; daughters, Aisling Folens of Ireland and Nimh Schueller of Oldsmar, FL; and a grandson.
Steve will be missed by his family and friends.
