Theresa Pianka, 78, of Inverness, FL passed away at Bayfront Medical Center, St Petersburg, FL on May 26, 2010. A New Jersey native and a local area resident since 2002, when she moved to Inverness, FL from Cherry Valley, NY. She was a wife, mother, homemaker, part-time worker, and a Catholic.
Theresa is survived by her loving family: a son, Mike Pianka and his wife, Theresa; four grandchildren: John, Kathy, Stefanie and Timothy Pianka and a great-grandson, Aiden Pianka of Poulsbo, WA; a sister and brother-in-law; Anita and Arthur Ball and nieces Anita and Jackie, NJ; her sister in-law, Leonora Shaw of Inverness, FL; niece and nephew, Debbie Hollaway and Tom Shaw, also of Inverness: nephews, Jim Shaw of Greensboro, NC and Steven Shaw of Riverhead, NY.
Services were held at 1:00PM on Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL where she will be interred with her deceased husband, Leon Pianka.
