A prayer for Uncle Tom and Family:Safely Home,
I am home in heaven, dear ones; oh, so happy and so bright! There is a perfect joy and beauty in the everlasting light. All the pain and grief is over, every restless tossing passed; I am now at peace forever, safely home in heaven at last. There is work still waiting for you, so you must not idly stand, do it now, while life remaineth– you shall rest in God’s own land. When that work is all completed, He will gently call you home; oh, the rapture of that meeting oh, the joy to see you come!
just read your notice pat, my deepest sympathies cherie
Pat, I wrote once, but I guess I didn’t submit it properly. We only found out today of Thomas’ passing. It certainly appears that the Full Mass and the Military Funeral Honors were the Very Best. Taps and the Flag presentation is always the Final Tribute. Pat, These last few months must have been difficult for you, and you deserve a lot of credit. It is never easy.
I won’t get into the bowling, golf, black jack or poker. I always felt that Thomas did it his way. Shirley and I send our Prayers & Very Best. ole lar
