TOMMY SWINDAL, (7/21/1947-7/12/2009) DIED SUDDENLY AT HOME IN BRANDON AFTER A LONG ILLNESS.
TOMMY SERVED IN VIETNAM AND WAS AWARDED THE SILVER STAR. HE LOVED HIS COUNTRY AND WENT BACK TO SERVE IN VIETNAM MORE THAN ONCE. DURING ONE OF THESE TOURS HE WAS HURT AND LIVED THE REST OF HIS LIFE WITH PAIN AND DISABILITY.
TOMMY LOVED HIS WIFE DONNA, SON JOE, DAUGHTER-IN-LAW MICHELLE. BUT MOST OF ALL TOMMY ADORED DALTON HIS GRANDSON. THEY WILL ALL MISS HIM TREMENDOUSLY.
DONNA WILL MISS HIM AND HIS FUNNY WAYS. SHE WILL MISS HEARING THE BAT MASTERSON THEME SONG ON THE WESTERN CHANEL, SHE WILL MISS HIM WALKING THROUGH THE LIVING ROOM WITH HIS WALKER CARRYING HIS PEE TO THE BATHROOM. SHE WILL MISS HEARING THE ROAR OF RACE CAR ENGINES IN THE GARAGE, ON THE RACE TRACK AT EAST BAY AND ON TELEVISION. TOMMY LOVED NASCAR! BUT MOST OF ALL DONNA WILL MISS THE MAN THAT COMPLETED HER FOR OVER THREE DECADES.
SHED NO TEARS WHEN I’M GONE. FOR IT WAS HEAVEN BEING HERE WITH YOU.
