Thomas Lee Wilson, 68, Elsmere, DE passed away suddenly on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at his home.
Tom was an avid automobile mechanic and enjoyed restoring vintage cars in his shop. He was a US Army Veteran, loved his country and his cars. He loved music (Janice Joplin, Hank Williams, NASCAR, Baseball, and Life. A kind and gentle soul, Tom loved his family, friends and his dog, Rusty. He walked this earth to the beat of his drum, but hurt nobody and loved by many. He will be missed by all who were blessed to know him, most especially his wife, Sylvia, and his dog, Rusty.
Survivors include his wife, Sylvia Smyth Wilson; son, William George Wilson; daughter, Kathy Jones; brothers, Gerard Farnan and Tenny Brown; sisters; Pamela Wilson-Hunter, Catherine Farnan-Alberts and Leslie Brown.
His services are 12:00 noon, Monday, March 29, 2010 at the First Presbyterian Church, 292 West Main Street, Newark, DE 19711 with the family to receive friends at the church from 11:00 AM until service time. Full military honors are 2:00 PM, March 29, 2010 at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear, DE.
