Thomas Patrick Dooley, 83, of Seminole, FL, passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2013, at the Bay Pines VA Healthcare System. He was born in Terre Haute, IN, and moved to the area in 1974 from Indianapolis, IN.
He served his country in the United State Navy and retired from Chrysler Corporation as a machinist, after many years of service. After moving to Florida, he worked with Scott’s Home Centers for a number of years. He was a member at First Christian Church in Seminole. Early in his life, he enjoyed hunting and was a boxer. He also enjoyed bowling and golf in his later years. He was a man who loved his family and was known as a storyteller.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Georgina Dooley. He is survived by his wife, Virginia; son, Dennis of Chicago, IL; daughter, Charla Dooley of Oldsmar; sister, Betty Sills of Portage, IN; grandchildren, Bridget and Jillian Dooley and Ian and Jori Teichgraeber.
A Memorial Service is scheduled for 6:00PM on Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at First Christian Church. The address is 13272 Park Blvd., Seminole, FL 33776.
