Timothy Scott Magnuson, 60, of St. Petersburg, Florida, died unexpectedly on April 19, 2009 at the Bay Pines VA Hospital in St. Petersburg. He was born in Kelliher, Minnesota on June 2, 1948, the son of Fred and Mabel (Gillie) Magnuson who preceded him in death.
He went to school in the Black Duck School system were he graduated in 1966, and then joined the U.S. Navy where he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal. After leaving the Navy, he started driving long haul over the road trucking. He moved to St. Petersburg Florida, where he met his fiancee, Stacey Brown, and their beloved pet, Keeko, both of whom will miss him desperately. Also, anyone who knew him will miss a great and loving man.
He will be laid to rest April 30, 2009 at 10:00, at the FloridaNational Memorial Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
Tim was a friend, that was always their for my sister. He was a great man, strong in his love and responsibility. He will be missed by myself and my sister Stacey.
Wow. I was a neighbor who lived at the Plaza Fifth Ave. Tim was a really great guy. Wish he would have taken better care of his health.
