Tommy Lee Harris, 75, of Lake Panasoffkee, FL died on May 19, 2009 at the Malcolm Randall VA Hospital, Gainesville, FL form natural causes. A native of Kingsport, TN and a local resident since 1993, when he moved to Lake Panasoffkee, FL from Gray, TN; he was a manager of Auto body shop in the local area and worked a long time for the Ford dealership in Eustis, FL. He was of the protestant faith and served in the Unites States Marine Corps and discharged as a Sergeant. Preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Lucille Harris and a sister, Mary Harris, Tommy is survived by his wife of 37 years, Gail Harris of Lake Panasoffkee; three sons: Bill Harris and his wife, Melisa and Robert Harris and his companion, Dyana Poonz , all of Daytona Beach, FL; Jonathon Harris of Lake Panasoffkee, FL; two brothers: Bob Harris and his wife, Linda and Bill Harris and his wife, Patsy, all of Kingsport, TN; sisters: Cynthia Moore and Martha Moore, both of Kingsport, TN and a grandchild, Ryan Harris. Tommy’s service is 10:30 AM, Friday, June 5, 2009 at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL with full military honors by the United States Marine Corps Det. # 708.
