Valentine F. Hartman, 85, died Friday, May 22, 2009 at his daughters’ residence in Weeki Wachee, FL under the care of Hernando Pasco Hospice. Born in Frederick, MD February 13, 1924, Val moved to Florida in 1977. A Veteran of World War II, he served in the Army Air Corps-847 Engineering Battalion in the Asiatic Pacific Theater from 1943 till 1946. He is survived by his daughter, Valerie and son-in-law, Fred George. He is preceded in death by his wife, Catherine and their son, Michael. Services will be 2:15 PM, Friday, June 26, 2009 at Bay Pines National Cemetery, Bay Pines, FL. Donation, in lieu of flowers, can be made to the Hernando Pasco Hospice or The Hospice of the Florida Suncoast.
