Valentine M. Suarez, 87, of Tampa, FL passed away at the James A. Haley VA Hospital, Tampa, FL on August 26, 2007 of natural causes. A lifelong Tampa, FL: resident, Valentine was a catholic; a US Coast Guard Veteran serving during World War II and then served in the Merchant Marines. He is survived by is wife, Alcira Suarez of Tampa, FL; three sons: Helder Melendez of Dallas, TX; Rafael Suarez of Miami, FL and Joe Suarez of Tampa, FL; two daughters: Claudia DiGeronimo of Tampa, FL and Jacqueline Melendez of Humocaro, Venezuela; three brothers: Arthur Suarez of Land of Lakes, FL; John Suarez of Miami, FL and Joe Suarez of Lutz, FL; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchildren.
