Varrian Otto Wigner "Otto The Great" 2/10/23 – 8/30/08. Otto was born in Mishawaka Indiana to Vern and Estella May Sherwood Wigner. On August 6 1955, he married Alina Stefanek in Chicago Illinois; A marriage that lasted 53 years. He is survived by his wife Alina and four sons, Peter, Chris, David, and Vic. His sons were always a great source of pride for him because, as he said, they all turned out to be such fine men. His sister Shirley, and brothers Kenny, and Victor are deceased. During World War II, Otto served proudly in the U.S. Army. In 1944, he fought battles in France, Normandy, Belgium, Holland, and the Battle of the Bulge, and was awarded several medals. Otto loved bowling and all the friends he made at Spring Hill Lanes. He was always cheerful, with a great sense of humor and talking to people made him happy. He will be greatly missed by those who knew him well and we will always cherish the good times together.

Otto was a great friend when I lived in Hackensack and bowled with him and his son Davey … Even when I moved away we had great times as I would still commute to bowl in the league at the bowling alley in Hackensack. I always stopped over at the key shop that he ran outside of Sears.. Hope you see this Davey !!
