Vince “Grandpa” DiRoberto will be missed by all. I have many fond memories of him, and I know how much he loved us all. Some of my favorite memories are of him and animals which he had a great love of, from his best “friend” Emmitt woof, to one Thanksgiving dinner when he let my hamster sit on his dish and eat his apple pie. My favorite story that he used to tell was when he broke a world record in swimming which was not official, so could not be recorded, and when he would have to break through the ice to swim. When I was on a swim team, he loved to come to my meets to cheer me on. I also really enjoyed his stories about the war he was in. He loved bread! He always told me how this was a problem for him, but I’m sure there will be plenty of it in heaven. My favorite picture of him was when he came up and sat on Santa’s lap with me and I was holding a Sesame Street doll. He was a very hard worker and juggled so many things through out his life, and always had a sharp mind, lots of wit, and a great sense of humor! I am really happy that he got to see how great his childrens lives turned out, and got to see my mom graduate with her PhD RoseMarie DiRobertoMatuszny, and myself with my MBA… he was so proud of us, and was always ready to celebrate. I know he will be very happy to see his mom and dad, my auntie lee, his best friend, and Emmitt in heaven… I am sure there are many others who will welcome him as well. We are all greatful to my Grandma for staying by his side throughout his entire hospital, hospise, nursing home stays until his death- I know they will both miss each other dearly. Thank you to my mother, Uncle Ted, Uncle Fran, The Henderson’s, The Chilcutt’s, and all others that were able to spend time with him during his final days. We love you Grandpa!!!

Dear Lillian, Rose, and Brittany,
Our thoughts are with you and your family, and our hopes are that the wonderful memories you all carry will fill the spaces in your hearts and minds as your lives move on. Remember that he lives within you and that
To Dad, Mom, Fran and Ted:
Dad, as you said you would, you fought hard to stay with us. You were my “Lion King”. I will miss you dearly. You made life fun and I always felt protected- even when we were many states apart. You were always a “kid” at heart and, in that respect, I am glad to have followed in your footsteps I will never forget just a few years ago when you went snow tubing in PA with Brittany, Nicholas and me and told me I should try going down the hill head first – like you did!…but I just couldn’t do it-I just wasn’t as brave as you!. Gad- I also loved how you cared about people and enjoyed talking with and making them laugh. I appreciated your overwhelming love for our family. I think the only thing that ever hurt your heart was when we couldn’t all be together- and for those occasions, I am sorry that we weren’t together more often. Life and technological advances have a way of taking family members further and further from each other…but you were always in my thoughts when I was far from home. I will miss your words of wisdom and your wonderful smile; your passionate spirit and your laughter. I wish so many things in life could have been better for you- but I admired your ability to accept your mistakes and enjoy the positives. You may not have not met your dream to be wealthy, but I believe you were rich in kindness, spirit, and love. We all love you and have learned from you important life lessons – to care about others, to smile and forget your worries when worrying won’t help, and to love your family and friends. Rest in peace Dad- we will make it here on earth and will look forward to a family reunion with you and all our other loved ones in heaven when the tme is right. I will always love you-thanks for being my Dad.
Thank you to all our dear friends who have entered your thoughts and condolences and to Margret, Jim, and Annika Henderson; Bill and Dottie Chilcutt, Marsha Carnes, and Les and Pam Muma for their visits to andor offers to help my father during his long and trying 70+ days in the hospital, rehabilitation, and Hospice.
We are sorry to hear of Vincent’s passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with the DiRoberto family.

To Lillian, Rose, Teddy and Fran.
We grive for your lose. Our thoughts and our prayers are with you, and all the DiReborto family during this time of sadness. And eventhough we are going to miss him greatly, Vince is in a better place. A place without the pain, worries and hardships of this life. One of the greatest conforts to us during this time should be our knowledge that we are going to see him again. Our Savior gave us that assurance. Untill then we will have those happiest of memories we choose to pick out and tuck away in our hearts, and of vince’s unique simle that always made us feel warm, at ease and welcome. We’re thankful to have known Vince Di Roberto. May God Bless him, and your family.
papa-d i”ll miss ya!love kim.
I am very sorry for your loss. Your family will be in our prayers.
Please remember that mercifully, by means of the resurrection, Jehovah God has opened up the priceless opportunity for untold multitudes of people who have died to come back from the dead and enjoy eternal life. This means that you can have the heartwarming hope that someday, in God?s new world, you will be reunited with loved ones who have fallen asleep in death.
?Mark 5:35, 41, 42; Acts 9:36-41.
What a joy it will be to see our dear loved ones again.
Love,
Jeff and Michelle
I truely know that Vinnie is in a better place and we all will be re-united one day in the same peaceful place they call heaven.
Until then he will be greatly missed…
May God bless the entire family.

To the DiRoberto Family:
We were saddened to read of your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family at this time.
Mike and Donna Willingham
Our thoughts and prayers have been and will remain with the DiRoberto family. We thought it appropriate to share a verse that gave our family comfort after my Grandfather’s passing.
No one knew that Sunday God would call you home. In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone. For part of us went with you, when God called you home. Our family chain is broken, nothing can ever be the same. But as God calls us one by one, our chain will link again.
With our continued support,
Jacque, David and Amber
To my long lost family,

My condolances to the DiRoberto family on their loss. As can be noted we have had the same name.
I would like to know more about him. My grandfather Desidario DiRoberto came to the U.S. through Boston. He came from at town called Corleto Monforte in the Province of Salerno. He settled in the East Harlem district of New York, where he later brought his wife and daughter from Italy.
Please feel free to contact me.
RoseMarie, Frank, and Ted,
So sorry to hear about your Dad! I too, remember him with great fondness even though he loved to tease me! : I also think about all the times I “ran away” from home and the first place I always went was the DiRoberto’s house because I knew I would be welcomed and safe well, at least until my mother called and said to get home. ’Rosie’, I have been trying to locate you for the last few years, I hope you will see this and e-mail me. I can’t believe you live so close and we travel to the mountains as much as we can. Frank and Ted, I hope you are doing well. Troy sent me this link. I know he misses you Ted. Please tell your Mom hello, and let her know she is one of the people who inspired me to go back to school. I always admired how hard she studied. I hope she is well. My love and prayers to you all. –Teresa
