Veterans Funeral Care Vincent Campbell, Sr.

Vincent M. Campbell, Sr., 60, of St. Petersburg, Florida died on Sunday, July 25, 2010 at his home. He was born in Portland, Maine to the late Arthur and Leona Beckwith Campbell. Vincent "Batman" Campbell was a soldier, husband, father, and a believer in the truth,  but he was more than that to so many. Vince was a great friend and an accomplished motorcyclist and bike show enthusiast and judge. His beloved Harley-Davidson “Pearl” winning 108 trophies under Vince’s amazing eye for detail and appearance. He and his wife, Diann, became a mainstay in the local biking community, hosting countless benefits, bike rides, and working tirelessly for Rider Now Magazine.

Vince will be missed by everyone whose life he touched and those he rode with on the highways. For he was a great man; one who was there for you during both the good times and the bad. To have Vince as a friend or to have been loved by him, made you a truly blessed person.

He is survived by his wife of 11 years, Diann Kalbach Campbell, of St. Petersburg, FL; his daughter, April (Mike) Lazarus of Belton, TX; his son, Vincent M. Campbell, Jr. of St. Petersburg, FL; three grandchildren: Lee-Ann and Michael Wayne Lazarus of Belton, TX, and Vincent M. Campbell, III of St. Petersburg, FL; sister, Amy Campbell; and brothers: Leo Campbell and Dennis Campbell.

Services are scheduled from Park Place Wesleyan Church, 4400 70th Avenue N., Pinellas Park, FL on Friday, July 30, 2010 at 11am. Friends and family visitation from 10-11am prior to the service. Interment with military honors will follow from Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL
