Virginia Alice Richart, 72, of Clearwater, FL, died on Friday, September 23, 2011 at Morton Plant Hospital, Clearwater.
She was born April 1, 1939 in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late, Lawrence Calvin and Geraldine Marie Freas Richart. She was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse of over 30 years.
Ginny was a gentle soul. She loved nature and loved her pets through the years, dogs, cats and birds. She was a lover of the small and simple things in life. While enjoying her morning cup of coffee and toast, she loved to listen to the birds singing, watch the squirrels running along the fence, and the bunnies playing in the yard. She loved her newspaper and was always in “the know” about what was happening on the local scene. We will miss her sweet smile and her caring and generous heart but take comfort in the fact that she is well again and dancing in Heaven in the Sunshine of God’s Perfect Love.
Survivors include her longtime dearest friend Pamela Torgersen of Clearwater, Florida, four brothers and sisters-in-law, Tom and Ruth Ann Richart of Huntsville, Arkansas, Marvin and Pat Richart of Tontitown, Arkansas, Donald and Carol Richart of Alton, Missouri, Gordon and Kathy Richart of Huntsville, Arkansas and one sister and brother-in-law, Wanita and Jimmy Dill of Mayflower, Arkansas. She is also survived by six nieces, five nephews, six great nephews and one great niece.
A small private memorial service will be held in Clearwater with a family service to be held in Arkansas at a later date. Crematory services are under the direction of Veterans Funeral Care of Clearwater, FL.

Ginny, and later Pam,was part of my Morton Plant Family for years after I left most of my family to move to Florida in 1979.We celebrated birthdays, holidays, weddings and whatever together and worked nights
as a family on the Orthopedic Floor.Ginny`s quiet calming presence and love of nature will certainly be missed…
I worked with Ginny many years @ Morton Plant Hospital on the ortho. floor. I worked the day shift and most mornings she was there to greet me as I arrived. I knew I could depend on her to let me know if there a possible problem with her patients orders. She was always on top of everything about her patients. She will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with her family at this time.

I love you and will miss you !
I just returned to Florida from a few months up north and learned of Ginny’s death. I knew her for years through our professional contact at MPH and also as friends who shared many happy times together. She was always so pleasant and had a great smile on her face. She was a wonderful nurse and co-worker. My heart is sad to learn she has left us. Sincere condolences to all.
