W. Glen Hengevelt, 55, of Homosassa, and formerly of Clearwater died Monday, December 30, 2002 at Morton Plant Hospital. He was born in Massillon, Ohio and came to Clearwater in 1950. He served his country in the US Marines earning a Silver Star and a Purple Heart during 2 tours in Vietnam. He was an avid fisherman and historian. He was a 1965 Graduate of Clearwater High School and attended University of Florida. He is survived by his companion, Diane Rush, St. Ives, United Kingdom, parents, William M. & Gloria G. Hengevelt, Clearwater, his sisters, G. Lynn Ingle, Delmar, CA, Lori Fravel, Palm Harbor. Burial was at Arlington National Cemetery, January 15, 2003 with full Military Honors.
