Walter “Sonny” Martin, 61, of St. Petersburg, Florida, died on May 19, 2012. He was born on February 15, 1951 in Charleston, WV, to Walter and Pauline Martin.
Sonny served in the Army during Vietnam where he received several medals and commendations. Sonny lived in St. Petersburg, FL, where he worked as a truck driver.
Sonny is preceded in death by his sister, Janet Carol Boggs. He is survived by his wife, Norma Martin; his mother and father; three sons; two step-sons; and three brothers.
Service with honors is scheduled for May 30, 2012, at 10 am, at Bay Pines National Cemetery.
