William A. "Frenchie" Gaudette, 79, of Brooksville, Florida passed away on June 17, 2011 at the Hernando-Pasco Hospice House in Brooksville. He was born on July 18, 1931 in Somerset, Massachusetts, the son of the late Joseph and Rafella Gaudette. Frenchie graduated from local schools and served his country in the Air Force. He retired as a mechanic with the Coca Cola Bottling Co.; however, his greatest love, besides his family, was music. Frenchie was a professional musician for many years and enjoyed jazz and other contemporary forms of music.
He is survived by his wife Mary Hauser Gaudette of Brooksville; his daughter, Deborah Gaudette Garner and her husband, James, of Tampa, FL; four sons: William J. and his wife of Ocala, FL, Wayne A. and his wife, Angele, of Sun City, FL, Brian K. of Sun City, FL, and Glen A. of New Port Richey, FL; his step-daughter Mary Denise Bee and husband, Rev. Ricky Bee, of Brooksville, FL.; and several grandchildren. He was predeced by his parents and his first wife, Dorothy Ann Boni Gaudette.
Memorial services were conducted from Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida on July 1, 2011.
