William Allen (Bill) Roberts passed away at James Haley Veterans Hospital on Tuesday, January 5, 2010 after a long illness.
Mr. Roberts was born in Overland, Missouri, on January 14, 2010. He attended St. Louis Jr. Academy. In 1961 he joined the Marine Corps and was discharged in 1966. He then attended the Atlantic College of Arts and received a Bachelor or Arts in Sculpturing doing occasional art work.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen F. Roberts.
Mr. Roberts leaves behind two brothers: Ronald E. and wife Sofia of Tampa and James L. and wife Lana or Orlando; nieces and nephews: Renee Olson of Lutz, Stephen Roberts of Apollo Beach, Jessica Roberts of Trinity, and Jimmy Roberts, Jennifer Breitfeller and Julie Roberts of Orlando; great nieces and nephews: Joshua and Sofia Olson of Lutz, Zachary and Savannah Vacca of Trinity, Sean and Alexis Roberts of Apollo Beach, Jimmy, Delaney, and Luke Roberts, and Victoria and Anthony Breitfeller of Orlando; and numerous friends.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, January 17, 2009 at the Tampa First Seventh Day Adventist Church, 822 W. Linebaugh Avenue, Tampa at 2:30pm.
