William Bill D. Partin III, 37, born July 8, 1971 at MacDill Air Force Base went to see Jesus on September 16, 2008, under the care of Hospice in his Riverview home.

Bill graduated from East Bay High School of Gibsonton, Florida with the class of 89. He served in the Air Force from April of 1998 to June of 2008 and loved every minute. He was stationed in many places during his 10+ years with the military, such as South Korea, Afghanistan, Las Vegas he loved the casinos, and ending up at Whiteman AFB in Missouri. He made friends easily where ever he was stationed. He enjoyed white water rafting, camping, Pearl Jam concerts, loved the Miami Dolphins football team, and lived life to the fullest. Another great joy was playing Poker with his buddies every week.

Bill was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year and was involuntarily retired from the military. His one true love, Janna Christine Partin flew to his side and relocated him to Riverview, Florida to be cared for by his family.

Bill’s love for life was so great that being terminally ill didn’t even stop him from seeing his favorite group, Pearl Jam, with his sister, Ginger earlier this year in Tampa.

Bill beloved son, grandson, brother and uncle is survived by his mother Susan McGowan stepfather Mitchell of Riverview, FL; father William D. Partin, Jr. of Wickliffe, OH; sister Sharon Thompson Marco of Riverview, FL; sister Susan Denise Williams David of Wimauma, FL; sister Ginger Spradlin David of Riverview, FL; grandmother Juanita Cox of Lutz, FL; uncle Larry Cox of Lutz, FL; uncle Larry Partin of Wickliffe, OH; aunt Deborah Mitrovic Peter of Wickliffe, OH, 9 nephews, 3 nieces and several cousins; ex-wife Janna Christine Partin and in-laws Craig and Gerri Hall. He is preceded in death by his brother, Mitchell McGowan II, papa Frank Cox, Grandfather William D. Partin, Sr.; and grandparents Bill and Joyce Comstock and his unborn baby.

Bill is also survived by his greatest companion, Charlie Chomps, a Jack Russell Terrier. Charlie could always be found lying by his side. They were always together. Charlie misses Bill very much.

Bill requested to be cremated. A portion of his ashes will be laid to rest at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida in a private ceremony for family and closest friends on Friday, September 26th at 11am. The remainder will be placed in an urn next to his brother’s on his mother’s mantle. A church service will be held on Saturday, September 27th at First Baptist Church of Ruskin at 2pm located @ 820 College Avenue West, Ruskin, FL 33570 a gathering will be held afterwards at the church.
