William E. Benedict Jr., 82, of Tampa, FL passed away at St Joseph Hospital, Tampa, FL on September 25, 2008 from natural causes. A native of East Orange, NJ and a local resident since 1998, when he moved here from Roswell, GA; he was a retired Risk Manager for Allendale Insurance and Chicago Pneumatic Tools; attended Incarnation Catholic Church in Tampa, FL; A US Navy Veteran of World War II and a graduate of Seaton Hall University. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Elizabeth Benedict of Tampa, FL;a son, William T. Benedict of St. Petersburg, FL; a daughter, Elizabeth Davis and her husband, Joseph of Tampa, FL and a grandson, Daniel Davis of Tampa, FL. Services are 10:00 AM, Friday-October 3, 2008 at Incarnation Catholic Church, 5124 Gateway Drive, Tampa, FL 33615 with Father Gepiga, to officiate. Full military honors will be provided by the US Navy Honors Team from Jacksonville, FL. at the conclusion of the service. The family will receive friends at the church from 9:00 Am until service time. Send all floral arrangements directly to the church.
