William James Scott, 60, of St Petersburg, FL passed away at Northside Hospital, St Petersburg, FL on March 31, 2008 of natural causes. A native of Camden, NJ and a local resident since 1969, when he moved here from Camden, NJ; Bill was a building maintenance man; a catholic and a US Army Veteran serving 16 years during the Vietnam War Era. Preceded in death by a son, Bobby Rose in 2006, Bill is survived by his wife, Khaysy of St. Petersburg, FL; his two daughters, Sherry Scott of St. Petersburg, FL and Brandy Scott-Hutchinson and her husband, Michael of Pinellas Park, FL; two sister, Diane Henry and her husband, Bill of Delran, NJ and Donna Goolsby and her husband, Edwin of Ocala, FL and five grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Harvest Temple Church , 13301 Walsingham Road, Largo, FL 33774 on Monday evening, April 7, 2008 from 6:00 Pm until 7:30 PM. A funeral service will begin at 7:30 Pm at the church with Pastor Tim Hamm, to officiate. Full military honors will be 12:45 PM, Friday afternoon, April 11, 2008 at Bay Pines National Cemetery, 10000 Bay Pines Blvd, Bay Pines, FL with the VFW Post 9272, officiating. Dear Sherry,Brandy I want to say how sorry I am for your loss of your Dad he was and always will be a GREAT man. I loved him very much, I will miss him so much.You guys could not have asked for a better dad. He was always there for you and for his whole family. I am sending my condolences to my Uncle Bill’s family, to his wife, his daughters, grandchildren, and his sisters, Diana and Donna.
