William Scott Fisher, 78, of Seminole, passed away at his home on Friday, April 5, 2013. He was born in Pennsylvania and moved here in 1950 from there.
He served his country in the US Army and he retired from The Honeywell Corporation after more than thirty years of service as a Technician. Scott was a member of the Gulf Coast Church in Seminole where he served as an Elder, was the Production Technical Chief and worked on the TV Production Team. Scott once went on a mission’s trip to Russia. He was an intelligent and quiet and “a man of few words”. He loved his family, loved life and enjoyed boating, camping and sightseeing. He also liked working with wood.
He was preceded in death by his parents William and Florence Fisher. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Louise; daughters, Ann (Jeff) Frederick of Mount Carroll, IL, and Beth (Jim) Deneweth of New Port Richey, FL; six grandchildren (Chris, Amy, Kayleigh, Brittany, Laura, and Rebecca); and one great-grandchild (Cassidy).
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at Gulf Coast Church, 13301 Walsingham Rd, Largo, FL, 33774. A viewing will be held at 10:00AM and will be followed by the funeral service at 11:00AM.
Scott will be interred in the Mullins Cemetery in Byrdstown, TN.
