William Stanley Stepaniak, 80, of Largo, passed away on Sunday, May 23, 2010 at Brookside Hospice House, Palm Harbor.
Bill retired from First Baptist Church of Indian Rocks, served as a proud USMC veteran of the Korean War earning the rank of Sergeant, and was a devout Christian who believed in God, Country, and Family.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Sara; 3 daughters: Diane Weems, No. Carolina, Linda Stepaniak, Gainesville, FL, and Pam Bellere, Daytona, FL; 4 sons: Donald Bellere, Orange City, FL, William Stepaniak, Jacksonville, FL, John Stepaniak, Largo, and Marty Weiss, Ft. Lauderdale, FL; mother, Marian and sister, Leona Tabro, both of Michigan; 16 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death this year by his son, Richard.
A Memorial service with military honors will be held at 2PM on Sunday, May 30th at First Baptist Church of IRB with Rev. Scott Harris officiating. A private burial will take place at Bay Pines National Cemetery near his son, Richard. His obituary can be seen on this website.

wow grandpa what can I say. I love you so much and miss you so much already.. im going to keep my promise to you about making sure grandmas is going to be ok and with staying with her for a while.. but you have to do me one favor have a good time with my daddy up there .Thank you grandpa so much for everything through out the years you have definately by far did so much for kayla,thomas and I. I am glad I got to know Bill briefly. I spent a fun afternoon visiting and playing video games with him and Sara in December along with my daughter and son-in-law, Alan, who calls him Grandpa. We will meet again one day in heaven where he will be healed and whole. He was a dear man.
Dad, I am missing you already. You did our family proud and you were an inspiration to all of us. My kids miss you and are already remembering stories. I know you are having a great time with Jesus right now. We will be there one day. Love and miss you.. Your daughter Pam.

Grandpa things are not the same at all with oiut you here.. i love and miss you greatly i kept my promise… auntlinda is doing great with grandma and when shes over here i spend a much time as i can… her memorys getting worse but she missed you terribly shes thinks its her fault you left her to soon but i know you guys will be reunited when the lord thinks its your time.. i love you and will always be grandpas girl
