Wilmah K. Brown, 84, of Tampa, FL went home to be with the Jesus, her husband, son, and parents at her residence with her loving family at her bedside on the afternoon of April 15, 2013.
Services will be held at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at Bethel Church, 1510 W. Hillsborough Avenue, Tampa 33603 with Pastor Howard Drewitz officiating. Bradley Murray will be performing several of Wilmah's favorite hymns. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior.
Born on July 10, 1928, she moved here from her native of Indianapolis, IN in 1971. Wilmah was a Key Punch operator for LS Airs and RCA. She was a wife, sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a dedicated and faithful member of the choir of the Suncoast Cathedral, St. Petersburg, FL.
Wilmah is survived by her loving family: her sons, Nelson and Todd Brown, both of Tampa; her daughters; Kristi Murray and Kathy Hurman, both of Tampa; her six grandchildren: Krysten Hurman, Kenney Brown, Troy Brown, Melody Brown, Bradley Murray, Sarah Lutz; and four great grandchildren: Tailyn Brown, Aviana Brown, Morgan Alling and Kendra Alling.

Mrs. Brown was a lovely lady and one who will be missed by many people. To her entire family I send my deepest sympathy. God has made her bed and she rests comfortably.

We did not know Mrs. Brown personally, however, from the stories told and from meeting her son, Todd, she must have been someone with a beautiful soul, and is someone who is now in a better place.
We are sincerely sorry about the passing of Mrs. Brown. We did not know her personally, but we believe that she is now one of God’s angels.
