Zillah May Bryant, 82, of Ocala, Florida, passed away on December 15, 2009 at Tuscany House Hospice in Summerfield, FL. She was born in Oneco, CT on February 17, 1927, the daughter of the late Simeon and Esther Pratt Brewin and attended schools there. Zillah was employed as a nurses’ aide for local nursing homes before retiring to Florida in 1987.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Raymond, of Ocala, FL; two daughters: Peggy (Wayne) Audette of Oneco, CT and Melissa (Frank) Fierro of Pueblo, CO; three sons: James(Lorraine)Bryant of Mashpee, MA, Bruce Bryant of Jewett City, CT, and Michael (Mary Jo) Bryant of Ocala, FL; her sister, Beatrice Jolly of Port St. Lucie, FL; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be held from Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL on Monday, December 21, 2009. Should friends desire, donations may be made to Tuscany House, 17395 SE 109th Terrace Road, Summerfield, FL 34491.
