Alice Brown Williams, 83, long-time resident of Sanford, went home to be with the Lord on February 2, 2019. Alice was born in Medina, TN and moved to Sanford, FL over fifty years ago. She graduated from the University of Miami and was a school teacher until her retirement after over 30 years in the educational field. She loved to read and loved the beach, and enjoyed spending time with her friends. Alice is predeceased by her beloved husband, Kenneth Williams, Sr. and is survived by her son Ken Williams, Jr. (Jeanne); daughter Kristen Wilson (Richard); grandchildren, Kaleigh and Claire Williams; Angela Wood (Chad), Christopher (Meagan), and Aimee Wilson; and two great-grandchildren Ryder and Charlee Wood.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Central Baptist Church, 3101 FL-46, Sanford, FL 32771 on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 11:00 am. The Reverend Dr. Richard Wilson will officiate.
Dear Ken,
We are so sorry about your mom. I know that you are probably relieved though that she is no longer suffering and at peace. I’m sure she is happy to be back in the arms of your dad up in heaven. I’m sorry that we cannot be at the services tomorrow. Just know that our thoughts will be with you.
