Ana Esther Marino-Maltes died January 20th, 2024, at the age of 91 in Lutz, Florida. Born October 13th, 1932, in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of Francisco Merino-Sierra and Ana Maria Maltes-Torres. She married Antonio Reyes-Cintron on December 26th, 1959, at the Cathedral San Feipe Apostol, Arecibo, together they shared 69 years of marriage. Ana is survived by daughter, Ana I Chaumont; son, Antonio F Reyes-Merino; son in law, Luis F Chaumont; daughter in law, Gloria Teresa Reyes; grandchildren, Luis (Lucy) Francisco Chaumont, Anthony (Melissa) Daniel Chaumont, Francis (Anabel) Javier Reyes, Cristina Reyes; and great-grandchildren, Claire E. Chaumont and Amelia R. Chaumont. Ana worked as a secretary for The Federal Court Supreme Judge in Puerto Rico. She enjoyed doing different crafts all her life. Reading books, taking, and collecting family photographs. Special thank you to all of those that helped and assisted in taking care of her during her last years and final days.
