My Dad was a Son, Father, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather & Great-Great Grandfather. He is now a Son of God THE Father. Grief & Sorrow are expected, but only TEMPORARY, leaving no room for despair; He is with The Lamb of God…The Lamb of Good! Go in peace dad – God Speed! I pray the light of Christ shines upon all our faces, Amen.
Carol and Melissa.
I am in awe of Andy, who was always so kind and sweet to me. After reading his Obituary, I have to add “Proud of Andy”
My heart and my prayers are with you as you say your final goodbye to Andy’s earthly body.
No goodbye necessary to Andy. He is with Jesus, and Jesus is here on earth with us.
So now, you can experience the love that they both send to fill your hearts, always.
I love you my dear ones,
Aunt Dot
Andy was one of the friendliest and funniest guys I’ve ever met. He always had a smile on his face and a kind word for everyone. I joined the Knights of Columbus with Andy and became a 4th Degree with him in Jacksonville. We were able to go out to dinner with Carol and Andy a few months ago and had a blast. His attitude never changed throughout his illness and he was always positive. My wife Ellen and I will sorely miss this fine gentleman. May God bless Andy and be with his loving wife Carol and the whole family at this time and always.
Andy was one of a kind. Why aren’t there more people like him? We met Andy and Carol while on vacation in Cancun. We became friends and looked forward to seeing them each year. We had a lot of good times and laughs. Andy will be greatly missed. Rest in peace, dear friend. You lived life well. God, please bless Carol and Andy’s family and give them strength and comfort.

Andy was one of the nicest people I have EVER met. When I moved to Florida, Andy and Carol treated me like family. I worked with Andy and Carol at GTE and I am so glad I was able to know them well. Even though I haven’t been in Florida for many years, I have always considered them special. Andy will be missed by all who knew him. My condolences to the family.
There’s never been a time seeing uncle Andrew that he wasn’t smiling or in a joking way. As I told Melissa, he lit a room whenever he entered it, Heaven is so much brighter now! I’m sure Mammaw, Aunt Lena, Uncle Joe, Uncle Frank, Uncle Pat, Aunt Mary, Aunt Rosie, Aunt Teresa and brother Nick all will be wearing sunglasses cheering as he entered!! Party day and night, big bowl of Lettuce with homemade Italian dressing with a few loaves of fresh Italian breads!! We may not have all seen each other often but when we did, it was festive! Someday those Lopreato’s and Metrangelos will take over a block or two up there! Rest Peacefully sir, your job is complete down here. Much love to Uncle Looshy, as he allowed me to call him. Carol he will always be with you, a true love never leaves. Hugs to all love Jim & Vici Compton❤️❤️
